I spent a decade keeping wind turbines running, and the years since building machines most people said couldn't be built. If you have something that needs to exist and doesn't yet, that's the work I take on.
Most projects arrive as a sketch, a frustration, or a part that keeps failing. You don't need a finished spec to start a conversation.
You know what it needs to do, not how. I work the problem, build test rigs, and find out what's actually possible before anyone commits to tooling.
Concept to a thing you can hold. CAD, printing, machining and fabrication in one shop, so iterations take days instead of purchase orders.
Taking a proven prototype to something manufacturable — design for assembly, material selection, cost-down, and documentation a shop can actually follow.
Small batches, custom fixtures, one-off machines and jigs. The runs that are too small or too strange for a production house.
Email me what you're trying to build. I read it and contact you to set up a time to talk. On the call you describe the problem, I ask questions, and we both find out whether this is something I can help with and want to build. No charge, no pitch deck.
If it's a fit, I write up what I'd actually do, what it costs, and how long it takes. Plain language. You decide from there with no pressure either way.
Work starts. You get progress updates with photos and honest reporting — including when something doesn't work, because that's the part that saves you money.
I take on projects I'm genuinely interested in, which is why the consult is free — it's as much me screening the work as you screening me. Here's roughly where I land.
One shop, one person, no handoffs between vendors. That's why iteration is fast.
Parts and designs only. I don't do engine rebuilds, tuning or repairs.
